Cake Care Instructions

When transporting the cake box, please pick up and hold from the bottom.  If you are driving with your cake, please have your AC on and place the cake on the floorboard of your passenger seat.  Be sure to keep the cake in a level position at all times.  The driver should drive slowly and take turns carefully and cautiously.

We recommend you refrigerate your cake immediately after pickup/delivery.  Before serving, we suggest you take the cake out of the refrigerator about 1-2 hours to allow the cake to come to room temperature.

Do not display your cake in direct sunlight and/or heat.  If the room is too warm, the cake is likely to start to sweat, become soft and melt.  If this happens, place the cake back in the refrigerator and let it firm up.  Your cake should be displayed in an air conditioned environment.

If you are displaying your cake on a cake stand, please use a cake stand that is sturdy and is at least an inch or two larger than the cake board.

​

For any leftovers, store the cake in an airtight container, or in the alternative, tightly wrap the leftovers in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.  Consume leftovers within 4 days for optimal freshness.
